At Giant Campus, we’re inspired by today’s youth and the creative ways they approach today’s technologies. That’s why we’re dedicated to offering inspiring learning experiences that feature instruction in the latest technology topics, such as game design, game modding, Web design, animation and video production. And, to help your child gain the leadership skills needed for success in an increasingly competitive global community, we also focus on building collaboration, communication and critical thinking skills. Over the years, our emphasis on teaching cutting-edge technology, along with teamwork skills, has helped thousands of youth reach their full creative potential.
It started with our founder, Pete Findley. Combining his love of technology with his enthusiasm for teaching youth, Pete’s vision earned him UW’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1997. This started his quest to redefine online education and offer engaging technology learning experiences that couldn’t be found anywhere else.
Today, Giant Campus is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), and we continue to be the innovator and leader in youth technology camps. Our technology curriculum is offered online through our own online camps and at over 50 locations at prestigious academic institutions across the country, such as UCLA, Stanford University, Duke University and MIT. Additionally, we’re proud to offer our programs to military service members and their families as part of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation program, helping the military community become proficient in all levels of computing – improving their professional lives and advancing their personal interests.
Giant Campus partners with online schools as the premier provider of technology curriculum, reaching students of all ages in 50 states and dozens of countries.
Our leadership and business accomplishments have earned us frequent recognition and awards, including Technology Fast 50 for Washington State (Deloitte and Touche), Best Companies to Work For (Washington CEO Magazine), Small Business Spotlight Award (Homestreet Bank) and Entrepreneur of the Year (Ernst and Young).
The individual learner is at the center of our approach to everything we do. Youth thrive in learning environments that promote creativity, exploration and a process of self-paced discovery. With the guidance and mentoring of our professional counselors and staff, our campers use the latest tools to unlock their creativity from our long list of technology partners. They include Apple®, Adobe®, Microsoft®, Lego®, Valve®, Gekido Games®, and Clickteam®.
