Course Description

Unleash the power of the Half-Life® 2 Source Kit to mod games in the blockbuster Orange Box® collection from Valve®. You’ll be on the fast track to build levels, place objects, and mod lighting, textures, atmospherics, and AI – as well as create multiplayer mods to share with your friends and foes alike. This one’s for you if you’re looking for the ultimate mix of game design and game play! Each session begins with a live demo by your online instructor, complete with tips and tricks to get you up and running in record time. You'll share mods with other campers from all over the country in real time, learning by doing in a collaborative online environment.

System Requirements: Intel® Pentium® 4, Intel Centrino®, Intel Xeon®, or Intel Core™ Duo (or compatible) processor; Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 3 or Windows Vista™ Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise (certified for 32-bit editions); 512MB of RAM; 64MB of video RAM; 1GB of available hard-disk space (additional free space required during installation); 1,024x768 monitor resolution with 16-bit video card.
