Course Description

The first phase of our Teen Leadership Program is the Leaders-in-Training program. Returning campers age 16 or 17 (with exceptions for 15 year olds entering their junior year of high school) are eligible to apply. In the LIT program, teens spend three weeks being mentored by the program director and building upon their personal strengths as they identify new skills that they would like to develop. Leaders-in-Training participate in activities such as brainstorming with campers to add new elements to their projects, helping a camper who is too shy to ask for help, jumping in to help staff organize snacks and helping with group games.
