Giant Campus is certified by the American Camp Association in more than 300 standards of health and safety at our flagship location at the University of Washington. Since we opened for business in 1997, there have been no instances or allegations of improper behavior by any member of our staff – making our program truly exceptional in both health and personal safety. Our college campus facilities are licensed by state authorities. Universities are on public water systems, cafeterias have regular health inspection visits and state governing bodies inspect buildings and fire plans on a regular basis. Medical services and emergency response teams are only moments away, if not immediately available in most locations. Our adherence to ACA standards makes good sense. In going beyond the basic requirements, we have ensured that all of our health and safety policies are maintained via our comprehensive staff-wide training program. From camp directors to instructors, our training program covers emergency management plans, healthcare and overall program management. Additionally, we train all staff in first aid and CPR, and require each staff member to pass a rigorous background screening before joining our team. Our policies and our training represent the highest standards of care and attention to your child's safety and well being. Following the guidelines of the ACA and leveraging our relationships with more than 50 state and city regulatory agencies, Giant Campus is committed to maintaining an outstanding level of safety in our programs from coast to coast.
