Registration:
A deposit of $200 per week of a Giant Campus summer program (applied toward tuition) is required at the time of registration. (A payment of $450 per week for LIT applicants is required). Balance of tuition must be paid by May 1, 2009. Unpaid balances after this date will incur a late fee of $25, which will be added to the balance due. All registrations received after May 1, 2009 must be paid in full. Participants will not be allowed to begin a week of a Giant Campus program unless the balance is paid in full.
Cancellations/refunds:
Notice of all cancellations must be delivered in writing via mail, fax or e-mail to cancel@giantcampus.com. Cancellations should be received by April 1, 2009. Eligibility amount for refunds decreases after this date. Details outlined below.
Cancellation insurance - "peace of mind" for $30:
Giant Campus cancellation insurance is a service offered to protect families who risk seeing plans change and must cancel reservations for a fee of $30 per program week. This protection must be subscribed to at the time of enrollment and may not be added at a later date.
*Please note that cancellation insurance is not available to LIT applicants.
Refund eligibility:
With cancellation insurance (all refunds exclude $30 insurance fee): Cancellations prior to April 1, 2009, result in refund of all monies paid. After April 1, 2009, cancellations at least 15 days prior to the start of the program week result in cash refund of amount paid, less $200 deposit per week. Cancellations within 15 days of the start of the program week result in credit refund of amount paid, less $200 deposit per week, usable through the 2010 program season.
Without cancellation insurance: Cancellations prior to April 1, 2009, result in cash refund of amount paid, less $200 deposit per week. After April 1, 2009, cancellations at least 15 days prior to the start of the week result in a credit refund of amount paid, less $200 deposit per week, usable through the 2010 program season. No refunds are issued for cancellations received within 15 days of the start of the program week.
Leaders in Training (LITs) and Instructor Interns (IIs): Cancellations prior to April 1, 2009, result in cash refund of amount paid, less $100 deposit per week. After April 1, 2009, no refunds are issued for cancellations. LITs and IIs not accepted into the program will have all monies refunded.
Registrations are transferable. Transfers must be in writing and must be received no later than 15 days prior to the start of the program week. No refunds are issued for no-shows, late arrivals, early withdrawals, absences, power failures or participant dismissals for disciplinary reasons. Falsifying info
